Welcome to the Gut Check: 30 Day Gut Healing Program! I’m Dr. Amy Osborne, your guide for the next 30 days.
I created this course because appropriate digestive function is at the heart of our health. If our digestive tract isn’t functioning the way that it should, our immune system and brain health suffer, and in turn we can experience delayed healing and hormone imbalance. Whether you want to clear brain fog, optimize digestion, decrease pain, improve immune function or balance your hormones – gut healing is always the first step.
This course offers a comprehensive understanding of functional nutrition, providing more information than you’d receive working one-on-one with a functional medicine provider or nutrition professional at a lower cost.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
-A self-paced, thorough education of nutrition and digestive function from a functional perspective. In other words, you’ll learn how your diet affects all aspects of your health.
-Guidelines for this dietary protocol, which includes elimination of inflammatory foods and addition of certain nourishing foods.
-Recommendations for supplementation.
-Suggestions for mindfulness practices and lifestyle changes that will help you to restore your gut function.
HOW TO GET THE MOST OUT OF THIS COURSE:
As with any program, the key to getting results comes down to one thing: CONSISTENCY. But, don’t demand perfection of yourself. Healing is a journey, and isn’t a straight path. Utilize the Slack channel to lean on your community along the way!

GET TO KNOW ME!
After working as a women’s health physical therapist for nearly a decade, I realized that traditional medicine was missing the boat when it comes to health and wellness. Far too frequently I heard that patients’ reports of digestive distress, fatigue and pain were dismissed by their medical providers. In order to better serve my patients, I sought continuing education in functional medicine and integrative nutrition, in order to provide a truly holistic approach. I personally experienced the power of nutrition when I suffered a disc extrusion in my back – an injury that typically requires surgery. Determined to avoid surgical intervention, I focused on using food to heal my body from the inside out. And it worked.
I firmly believe that knowledge is power, and I want everyone to truly understand how nutrition affects their body. Moreover, I want to provide my clients with the tools they need to take control of their health and empower them to achieve their highest level of function.
